Frank Tima Sr. started Livonia Home Improvement in the 1950’s. Frank believed that you if you use the best products and combine that with professional installers & superior workmanship, you have a recipe for success. Frank Sr. also believed that you take care of your customers like they are a part of your family.

Frank Jr. started working for his family’s company as a young man, sweeping up and doing odd jobs around the office. His father taught him the proper methods and techniques to be a good building contractor, and all the carpentry and people skills that come along with that. Frank Jr. became a partner with his father and together they built Livonia Home Improvement into a major home improvement company in the area with a large list of happy customers. Frank Jr. eventually took over the operations completely when his father retired.

The Tima family has always taken pride in the work they do for the community. Their reputation in the area has resulted in customers calling for additional work and referring them to their friends and family for over 65 years.
